Meanwhile, only 25 out of every 1,000 perpetrators will end up in prison.” (rainn.org) CAASA, which stands for Centers Against Abuse and Sexual Assault, covers 19 counties in Northwest Iowa and this statistic is the reason why we offer free services for victims and survivors of sexual assault. You may be thinking that sexual assault does not happen in Northwest Iowa, but it does. Maybe it was a neighbor, a coworker, your best friend, or just maybe it was a family member. Whether they are willing to come forward or not, we are here for all sexual assault survivors.
